A look at December’s Mercury Retro

From 3 to 23 December, this particular Mercury Retro crunches us to rethink directions and opinions of self and others. It’s time to use a combination of practicality and good will to consider best options for all and make necessary changes. Good news is that Mercury’s in Sagittarius, so grab the innovation vibe and reach out for new ideas and joyful connections. Put that thinking cap on! The Sagittarius Centaur raises his bow’n’arrow to the heavens, shooting for his highest aims, but he must physically lift that bow’n’arrow and point it somewhere no matter how many times his arms get sore! Same for us. Use that fiery Sagittarian optimism because Mercury joins Saturn and this, plus the Retro vibe, might bring feelings of not being understood and the blues. Thank goodness Mercury aligns to the positivity of the Destiny Nodes. If the Saturn-effect feels heavy and down, keep aiming that arrow of good will and benefit-of-the-doubt in communications and efforts because in the last two weeks of December, Mercury with the help of the Nodes helps us move forward after hard decisions or experiences. If we react or make choices we’re later uncomfortable with, Saturn will help us address this at the post-Retro Shadow in January. Even so, tread carefully during December as burnt bridges can reverberate long into the future.
